The whole idea of ‘fate’ is crap. Its origin is cultural, designed to brainwash individuals into accepting the roles that their society designed for them (dharma) - i.e., if your parents were servants, you are a servant, will always be a servant, and will not be allowed to study beyond your class.

Society and rules are necessary when groups of people are living together, but hanging on to outdated aspects of ancient cultures as an excuse for not taking action in your own life is ridiculous.
